Allegiance

Legendary TV and film star George Takei will make his London stage debut in the UK Premiere of his hit show Alegiance. Californian born Takei and his family were placed behind barbed-wired enclosures of United States internment camps along with 120,000 other Japanese Americans. He spent years of his childhood at camp Rohwer in the swamps of Arkansas and at wind-swept Camp Tule in northern California. This real life experience has inspired this award winning musical, reinterpreted for the more intimate setting of our Mainstage. Joining Takei will be his Broadway Co-star Telly Leung (Broadway's *Aladdin*, *Glee*) Directed and choreographed by Tara Overfield Wilkinson (Award Winning *Falsettos* at the Other Palace.)
